Gulf Air Signs Letter of Intent for 24 JetZero Z4 Blended-Wing Aircraft

Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air has announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with U.S.-based JetZero for up to 24 Z4 blended-wing passenger aircraft.

Under the agreement, Gulf Air intends to evaluate the Z4 as a future addition to its fleet to support the continued expansion of its route network across Europe and Asia.

The JetZero Z4 is being designed to accommodate approximately 250 passengers with a range of 5,000 nautical miles. According to the company, its innovative blended-wing body design is expected to deliver up to 50 percent lower fuel consumption compared with conventional aircraft of similar capacity.
